Our Story
Founded in 1945, METROPOLITANA helped build the history of engineering in our country.
In its portfolio, it features outstanding works, such as the BR-4 Highway (Rio-Teresópolis section), in the 1950s; duplication of the Presidente Dutra Highway in the 1960s and, more recently, the Environmental and Urban Restoration on the beach shore of Praia do Pontal (RJ) and the construction of the Paraty-Cunha road, in the Serra da Bocaina National Park (RJ). Constructions that made and still make a difference, contributing to the development of regions and the well-being of people throughout the country.
METROPOLITANA has an Integrated Management System (IMS) that aims to improve the quality of its products and services and ensure environmental control, showing concern for the preservation of the environment and the continuous improvement of its processes.
It’s been over 75 years of hard work and perseverance. A trajectory marked by dedication, team spirit, technological improvement and investment in human capital.
